CLOSURE OF REGISTER OF MEMBERS
In the announcement dated 17th July, 2001, Yau Lee Holdings Limited (the "Company") announced a proposed final dividends of HK1.4 cents per share. Subject to shareholders approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting, the proposed final dividend will be payable to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members at the close of business on 17th August, 2001.
In order to qualify for the proposed final dividend, all share transfers accompanied by the relevant share certificates must be lodged with the Company's branch register in Hong Kong, Central Registration Hong Kong Limited on 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Hong Kong no later than 4:00 p.m. on 10th August 2001.
The register of members of the Company will be closed from 13th August, 2001 to 17th August, 2001, both days inclusive, during which period no transfer of shares will be effected.
