國泰集團欣然表示，最近錄得單日接載逾十萬乘客人次，創重建以來新高，達成另一重要里程碑。
集團旗下國泰航空和香港快運，於 2024 年 12 月 15 日合共接載 100,856 位乘客，打破單日載客十萬人次大關。
自該日起至 12 月 31 日節假出遊高峰期間，集團共有八天錄得單日載客逾十的紀錄。
國泰集團行政總裁林紹波表示：「我們很高興以另一個里程碑為 2024 年劃上完美句號。過去一年，國泰集團進行了歷來最大規模的擴展，並取得顯著成果，全賴每一位員工的付出及努力。我尤其衷心感謝世界各地前線團隊在假期間辛勤工作，確保顧客探索新目的地及與親友歡聚團圓之餘，享受順暢愉快的旅程。
「我們很欣慰順利完成兩年的重建之旅。在重建路上，我們一直竭盡全力，於香港航空樞紐為顧客提供更多航班和目的地選擇。國泰已展開全新一頁。」
國泰航空最近已恢復往返澳洲開恩茲的季節航班服務，並於今年開通多個新長途航點，包括印度海德拉巴、美國達拉斯、以及歐洲慕尼黑及布魯塞爾等等；香港快運飛往日本靜岡的航班最近已啟航，並於本月稍後開通仙台航線。
國泰航空和香港快運的航班數量於 2025 年 1 月起，達至疫情前 100%水平。兩家航空公司的客運航點總數預計在 2025 年突破 100 大關，引領國泰集團邁進另一重要里程。
隨著三跑道系統於上月啓用，香港正式踏入新時代。國泰植根香港，將繼續克盡己任，連繫香港、內地和世界各地，並為提升香港國際頂尖航空樞紐地位作出持續貢獻。
