GENERAL INFORMATION Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Company Limited (the “ Company ”) was incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 21 September 2006 as an exempted company under the Companies Act Chapter 22 (Law 3 of 1961 as consolidated and revised, formerly known as Companies Law) of the Cayman Islands and its shares have been listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited with effect from 15 June 2007. Its ultimate holding and parent company is Sun Xu Limited, a private limited company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. Its ultimate controlling party is Mr. Wang Wenjian, also a director of the Company. The addresses of the registered office and principal place of business of the Company are disclosed in the Corporate Information section of the annual report. The Company is an investment holding company. The Company and its subsidiaries (collectively the “ Group ”) are principally engaged in the business of designing, researching and developing, manufacturing and selling of optical and optical related products and scientific instruments. The consolidated financial statements are presented in Renminbi (“ RMB ”), which is also the functional currency of the Company. 1. 概況資料 舜宇光學科技（集團）有限公司（「 本公司 」） 於二零零六年九月二十一日在開曼群島根 據開曼群島公司法第 22 章（一九六一年第 三條法例，經綜合及修訂，以前稱為公司 法）註冊成立為獲豁免公司，其股份自二零 零七年六月十五日起在香港聯合交易所有 限公司上市，最終控股及母公司為舜旭有 限公司，一間於英屬處女群島註冊成立的 私人有限公司，而最終控股人士為王文鑒 先生，亦為本公司董事。本公司註冊辦事 處及主要營業地點的地址乃於年報公司資 料一節披露。 本公司為一間投資控股公司。本公司及其 附屬公司（統稱「 本集團 」）主要從事設計、 研究與開發、生產及銷售光學及光學相關 產品與科學儀器業務。 綜合財務報表以人民幣（「 人民幣 」）呈列， 人民幣亦為本公司的功能貨幣。
