Looking forward to the second half of 2019, the Group will remain to monitor the global political and economic changes and the industrial development trends closely, seize the opportunities arising from its business transformation and upgrade, leverage on its advantages on scale and technologies and also implement the development strategies formulated at the beginning of the year on a consistent basis in order to consolidate the Group’s leading market position. 1. Further improve the Group’s competitiveness in the market by increasing R&D investment and enhancing the value added to the products and services The Group’s research institute will continue to work together with its subsidiaries to proactively explore new markets, integrate new technologies, develop new products (especially products combining hardware and software) and develop new businesses. At the same time, the institute will also cooperate with its subsidiaries in the R&D of key technical elements. These technical elements are important for the Group to meet customer needs, enhance the value added to the products and gain competitive advantages in the industries.
