The increase in net profit was mainly attributable to the increase in gross profit and the effective control in operating expenses. The net profit margin was approximately 7.9%. Profit for the Period Attributable to Owners of the Company The Group’s profit attributable to owners of the Company for the period of six months ended 30 June 2016 increased by approximately 51.2% or approximately RMB157.6 million to approximately RMB465.3 million as compared with the corresponding period of last year. Interim Dividends For the year ended 31 December 2015, the dividends proposed by the Board was approximately RMB0.208 (being HK$0.249) per share, with a payout ratio of approximately 30.0% of the profit attributable to owners of the Company for the year, and was paid in June 2016. The Board does not recommend the payment of any interim dividends for the six months ended 30 June 2016 (corresponding period of 2015: nil).
