PROPERTY, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT During the period, the Group spent approximately RMB27 million (the corresponding period of 2008: RMB97 million) on purchasing its manufacturing equipments and construction of a manufacturing plant in Korea, in order to upgrade its manufacturing capabilities. In addition, the Group disposed of certain of its plant and equipment with a carrying amount of approximately RMB8 million (the corresponding period of 2008: Nil).
