PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESS REVIEW The Company is an investment holding company. The principal activities of its principal subsidiaries are set out in note 33 to the consolidated financial statements. A business review of the Group, with description of the principal risks and uncertainties and the likely future development, are set out in chairman’s statement, management discussion and analysis on pages 4 to 10, this directors’ report on pages 54 to 66, and in notes 4, 5, 28, 30 and 31 to the consolidated financial statements. RESULTS AND APPROPRIATIONS The results of the Group for the year ended 31st December, 2021 are set out in the consolidated statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income on page 73. The Directors did not recommend the payment of a final dividend for the year. FINANCIAL SUMMARY A summary of the results and of the assets and liabilities of the Group for the years from 2017 to 2021 is set out on page 160. PROPERTY, PLANT AND EQUIPMENT Details of the movements in the property, plant and equipment of the Group during the year are set out in note 14 to the consolidated financial statements. SHARE CAPITAL Details of the share capital of the Company are set out in note 23 to the consolidated financial statements.
