Reduction Emission of Greenhouse Gases (“GHG”) Reduction of Business Trips The Group understands that business trips increase energy consumption and lead to an increase in GHG emissions. The group uses other effective means of communication to reduce GHG emissions that arise from additional traffic, including using phone and/or video conferencing, and encouraging employees to use public transport. During the reporting period, business travel was suspended due to the pandemic. The Group uses telephone and video conferencing instead. Procurement from Local Suppliers Under the same business conditions (e.g. cost, quality, technology and services, environmental and other factors), the Group would give priority to local suppliers to reduce delivery distance and its resulting carbon emissions. Control of Indoor Air Quality Smoking is prohibited in the Qingyuan factory and the offices to maintain good air quality. The Hong Kong office has been equipped with air freshening machine and ventilation system to improve air quality.
