Under the SFO, Mr. Hui Sum Ping is deemed to be interested in the 3,000,000 non-voting deferred shares of HK$1 each in Hop Fung GM. Pursuant to an option deed dated 19th August, 2003, Hop Fung Group HK and its nominee granted to Hop Fung Group Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, an option to purchase from them such 3,000,000 non-voting deferred shares of HK$1 each in Hop Fung GM. Accordingly, Mr. Hui Sum Ping is deemed to have a short position in the underlying shares of the option granted under the option deed pursuant to the SFO. (b) Share options Details of the Directors’ and their associates’ interests in share options of the Company are set out in the section headed “Share Options” below.
