ARRANGEMENT FOR DISSEMINATION OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
In accordance with the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("Listing Rules"), the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and the Articles of Association of China Motor Bus Company, Limited ("CMB" or "Company"), the Company has adopted the electronic dissemination of all future Corporate Communications (1). Both English and Chinese versions of all Corporate Communications will be made available electronically on the CMB website and the HKEXnews website ("Website Version"). The Company has implemented the following arrangements for the electronic dissemination of Corporate Communications:
Registered Shareholders
The Company will send email notifications to registered shareholders regarding the publication of Corporate Communications on the CMB website and the HKEXnews website. If you have not provided a valid or functional email address, you will need to proactively check the CMB website and the HKEXnews website to keep up with the publication of Corporate Communications.
Registered shareholders who encounter any difficulty in accessing to the Website Version may request a printed copy of the Corporate Communication from the Company's Share Registrar by post or by email. The Company will promptly send the printed copies of the Corporate Communications to you free of charge upon receipt of the written request. Please note that such a request does not constitute a change to your existing election.
For new registered shareholders who have not previously received the Company's letter seeking your election regarding the preferred means of receiving Corporate Communications, and for shareholders who have opted to receive Corporate Communications in printed form, the Company will dispatch the printed copies to you accordingly. For details on revoking or amending your previous election, please refer to the section headed "Election of Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications" below.
Actionable Corporate Communications (2) will be sent to registered shareholders individually by post to their addresses as appeared in the Company's register of members.
Non-registered Shareholders
For non-registered shareholders who wish to receive email notifications regarding the publication of Corporate Communications on the CMB website and the HKEXnews website, please liaise with the bank(s), broker(s), custodian(s), nominee(s) or HKSCC Nominees Limited through which your shares are held and provide them with a valid and function email address.
Election of Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications
Registered shareholders and non-registered shareholders who wish to receive printed copies of the future Corporate Communications may submit a written request to the Company's Share Registrar at any time. The latest version of the Reply Forms for selecting the preferred means of receiving Corporate Communications is available for download at the links below:
Requests from registered shareholders for printed form of Corporate Communications will remain valid for a period of twelve months from the date of receipt, unless it is earlier revoked or superseded.

(1) Corporate Communications refer to any document issued or to be issued by the Company for the information or action of holders of any of its securities, including but not limited to, the directors' report, the annual accounts together with a copy of the auditor's report, the interim report, a notice of meeting, a listing document, a circular and a form of proxy.
(2) Actionable Corporate Communications refer to any corporate communication that seeks instructions from the Company's securities holders on how they wish to exercise their rights or make an election as the Company's securities holders. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not include a notice of general meeting or a form of proxy.
