The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong expressed grave concern about the subscription arrangements of tom.com Limited, in particular the arrangements for lodging share application forms.
The Exchange has requested the global coordinator of the Initial Public Offering to submit a full report on yesterday's events. The global coordinator is required to justify in the report the resources and arrangements to handle the subscription arrangements. A further review will be conducted by the Exchange upon receipt of the report.
Professional advisers and new listing applicants should note yesterday's events and ensure that proper arrangements are made to allow for an orderly IPO process and to avoid causing disruption to members of the public.
