MSCI China Free Index Futures developed by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) will commence trading on 7 May 2001 (Monday). The new futures contract will provide a hedging and trading tool for the 'China concept' sector of the international stock markets. The news media are cordially invited to a ceremony to mark the commencement of trading on 7 May. The ceremony will be hosted by HKEx and the following individuals are expected to attend.
