Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) released today (Monday) the CD product on Hong Kong Listed Companies Annual/Interim Reports 1999. The CDs provide black and white images of annual/interim reports (both English and Chinese versions) published by listed companies for reporting periods ending in 1999.

Document images can be searched and retrieved quickly by company name, stock code, document type or language. The development of this product is part of the HKEx's strategy to increase market transparency by offering easy public access to listed company documents. The product will also enable commercial and academic institutions to build up their research base on the Hong Kong stock market in a more convenient form.

The subscription price for the CD product is HK$2,400 per set (comprising 7 compact disks). A special price of HK$2,000 is offered for subscriptions received by 30 November 2000. Subscription forms are now available on the web site of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (a wholly owned subsidiary of HKEx) at http://www.sehk.com.hk and at the Stock Exchange's sales counter, located on 1/F, One & Two Exchange Square, Central.
