JARDINE STRATEGIC - CHAIRMAN'S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING STATEMENT
Bermuda, 13th June 1996 -- At the Annual General Meeting of Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited held today the Chairman, Mr Henry Keswick, said, "We are expecting an improvement in the contribution from most of our underlying businesses in 1996 although strong competition will continue to put pressure on Dairy Farm's results. Jardine strategic's overall result will also benefit from the disposal by Hongkong Land of its interest in Trafalgar House which gave rise to an exceptional profit."
