DAIRY FARM INTERNATIONAL - CHAIRMAN'S ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING STATEMENT
Bermuda, 12th June 1996 -- At the Annual General Meeting of Dairy Farm International
Holdings Limited the Chairman, Mr Simon Keswick, said, "As anticipated, intense competition
in the retail sector is still affecting a number of our operations, in particular in Australia
and the United Kingdom. The Group's results will also be affected by the costs associated with
investing in new businesses."
