Summary

The board has noted some recent articles indicating that the Company may close its operations in Indonesia due to the current civil unrest. These are incorrect. The Company's business in Indonesia is operating as normal.

Some recent articles in the Hong Kong press and financial news services have indicated that the Company may consider closing its operations in Indonesia as a result of the current civil unrest in Indonesia. These articles are mistaken. The Company has no intention of closing its operations in Indonesia and no contingency plans for the current political turmoil in Indonesia if that leads to the closure of the operation. If a closure were forced upon the Company, its directors believe that would not have a significant effect on the business of the Company as the Company has ample production capacity in China and Vietnam to which production volume in Indonesia could be transferred. The Company's facilities in Indonesia on average produce less than 12% by value of the Company's annual production. At present, the Company's Indonesian operations are carrying on business as normal and the directors do not consider necessary to make any provisions for the Company's investments or operations in Indonesia.

The directors will however keep the situation under review and will make further announcements if and when appropriate should circumstances change.

The directors confirm that there is no matter of which the Company is aware which may be notifiable by the Company under paragraph 2 of the Listing Agreement.
