Yau Lee Construction seals Architectural Services Department's
HK$359 million new term contract deal

(16 April 2010, Hong Kong) Yau Lee Construction Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yau Lee Holdings Limited (stock code: 406), is pleased to announce that a 48 months new term contract - Contract No. TC W011, has been signed for the alterations, additions, maintenance and repair of buildings and lands and other properties for which the Architectural Services Department (Property Services Branch) is responsible in the Designated Contract Area of Central, the Peak and Mid-Levels. The contract sum is approximately HK$359 million. The contract was signed in a simple but elegant contract-signing ceremony by Mr. I. K. Wong, Director of Yau Lee Construction Company Limited and Mr. S. W. Fong, Assistant Director Property Services of Architectural Services Department.

After the contract-signing ceremony, Mr. Y. C. So, Director and General Manager of Yau Lee Construction Company Limited remarked, "To cope with the fast growing demand in maintenance and renovation works in recent years, Yau Lee Construction has input voluminous resources to develop an outstanding maintenance and renovation engineering team as well as diversifying our service scopes. The Company has since expanded its principal business from building construction to include projects of different nature, such as design and build projects as well as maintenance services. We are delighted to be awarded this new term contract by the Architectural Services Department, which is a vote of confidence towards our painstaking endeavours.
