

The UDL Group was founded in the late 1940s by the late Mr Leung Man Kwong, UDL initially specialized in salvage, harbour engineering and shipbuilding works, and in the 1960s had expanded into marine and civil engineering. By the late 1980s, under the management of Mr Leung Yat Tung, UDL began a process of strategic restructuring which successfully placed itself in a strong position to undertake various projects in different engineering aspects. To cope with the rapid expansion of market demand in the early 1990s, UDL went public in 1991 as UDL Holdings Limited. Through major acquisitions in Hong Kong, PRC (Dongguan and Zhong Shan) and Singapore, UDL has established the reputation as one of Hong Kong's most versatile multi-disciplinary engineering group.
