Ta Yang Group Holdings Limited
(incorporated in the Cayman Islands with limited liability)

Corporate Profile

We are the largest input device manufacturers in the world and the PRC in terms of production volume in 2006. We focus on the design and manufacture of silicone rubber input devices, which are mainly used in (i) consumer electronic devices, (ii) keypads for computers and notebooks, (iii) mobile phone handsets and (iv) automotive peripheral products. We produced approximately 345 million pieces of silicone rubber keypads in 2006, representing 9.9% and 14.6% of the total production volume in the world and the PRC respectively.

Our production facilities are situated in Dongguan of Guangdong Province and Huzhou of Zhejiang Province in the PRC. We are amongst the first group of silicone rubber keypad suppliers founded by Taiwanese individuals to set up production facilities in the PRC. While most of our customers' production process demands short lead time, in order for us to provide just-in-time delivery to our customers, our production facilities are strategically located in close proximity to our major customers' factories in the PRC. Currently, our production facilities have an aggregate production capacity to manufacture approximately 500 million pieces of silicone rubber based products annually.

Our major customers include worldwide renowned brands and key consumer electronic device manufacturers such as Casio, Philips, Shin-Etsu Polymer, SMK, Samsung, Darfon, Lear, Siemens VDO, Thomson, Funai, Chicony, PCI, Fujitsu ten and Flextronics. We have established long term relationship with them. Our stringent quality control system enables us to provide high and stable quality products that meet the requirements of our customers which are evidenced by our long standing relationship with our customers.

Silicone rubber is the major component for most of our products and we produce over 97.5% of our products from silicone rubber. In order to enhance our competitiveness by increasing our control over the entire production process and to capture the profit margin from our upstream value chain, we have expanded vertically into manufacturing of the raw mateira: silicone rubber for internal usage since 1996. With over 10 years of experience, we have developed mature skills and knowledge in the production of silicone rubber in the forms of HTV and LIMs. This vertically integrated strategy has ensured a stable and constant supply of high quality silicone rubber for our production process as well as enhanced our product design capability, which together enabled us to derive increasing profit margin from the sales of our products.

Our competitive advantage:

1. Established customer base: Our customers are leaders in their respective industry.
2. Strategic partnership: Shin-Etsu Polymer = World's largest mobile phone keypad supplier Mitsubishi Corporation = Japan's largest trading company.
3. Highly integrated production process: We have our own production of: raw material (silicone rubber), plastic tooling, membrane, etc, allowing for one stop manufacturing.
4. Economies of scale and close proximity to key customers: Our scale provides us with flexibility to accommodate changes in market demand and enables us to capture a larger pool and/or greater mix of customers.
5. Stringent quality control system We focus on our quality control system to minimize wastage and increase efficiency.
6. Experienced management team: Our management team has extensive industry experience with an average of 15 years.
