(4th November 2005, Hong Kong) Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has been named "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year" at the Asia Logistics Awards 2005 for the fourth consecutive year.
Asia Logistics Awards is organised by Lloyd's Freight Transport Buyer Asia, one of the region's leading logistics and supply chain magazine, to recognise the top-performing players in the industry. A readers' poll was conducted in May this year to select the top five finalists for each of the thirteen award categories, and the final winner was chosen by an independent panel of judges comprising professionals in various sectors of the supply chain, across different Asian countries. The award presentation ceremony was held last night at the JW Marriott Hotel, Shanghai.
Mr. Anthony Wong, Hactl's Managing Director said, "It is indeed a great honour to have won the 'Air Cargo Terminal of the Year' title four years in a row. Hactl always strives to raise the bar for cargo-handling performance, contributing to the development of Hong Kong as the Asia Pacific region's premier logistics and air cargo hub.
