(14th October 2004, Hong Kong) Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) is pleased to announce that it was awarded the 7th International Transport Award (New Millennium Award) yesterday at Madrid, Spain.
The International Transport Award (New Millennium Award) recognises distinguished service quality in the goods and passenger transport industry worldwide. The Trade Leaders' Club, which is the host of the Award, is a business association comprises over 7,000 companies in 110 countries representing the manufacturing and service sectors. Now in its seventh year, the International Transport Award (New Millennium Award) is given out annually to companies with outstanding quality and service in the global transport and related industry. All members of the Trade Leaders' Club are invited to nominate companies with outstanding service standards for the Award. Past winners include companies in the transport, freight forwarding and logistics sectors in more than 80 countries around the world. Hactl is the first air cargo terminal to win the Award.

The 7th International Transport Award (New Millennium Award) is the latest to add to the string of industry awards the Company has won. Hactl was named "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year" last week at the Asia Logistics Awards 2004 for the third year running. The Company received the 2003 Hong Kong Award for Services: Productivity Grand Award early this year.
