(29 November 2002, Hong Kong) Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has won the "Air Cargo Terminal of the Year" award at the Asia Logistics Awards 2002. The gala dinner of the inaugural event was held last night at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Hong Kong.
Organised by one of the leading trade publications, Lloyd's Freight Transport Buyer Asia, the Asia Logistics Awards was launched to recognise excellence in providing the best logistics solutions. The awards were voted by readers of Lloyd's Freight Transport Buyer Asia and the Asian readership of its sister publications, including Containerisation International (CI) and the International Freighting Weekly (IFW).
Hactl's Managing Director Mr. Anthony Wong said after receiving the award, "It is a great honour to be voted as the Air Cargo Terminal of the Year. We are delighted that our efforts in service excellence in cargo handling are recognised by industry professionals. The credit also goes to all Hactl staff for their untiring efforts. I would also like to thank our airline customers as well as business partners for their continued support, without which we will not be able to achieve this recognition."
