Swire Director Chairs Hactl Board
Mr. Davy Ho Cho Yin, an executive director of Swire Pacific Ltd., has succeeded Mr. James Hughes-Hallett as Chairman of Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl) with effect from 27th March, 2001.
Mr. Ho, aged 53, joined the Swire Group in 1970 and has worked with the group in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is the Chairman of the Swire Group's Taiwan operations and of a number of Swire Group companies with shipping and travel interests.
Hactl operates SuperTerminal 1, the largest and most advanced air cargo facility in the world, at Hong Kong International Airport. The company is jointly owned by seven major corporations in Hong Kong: Swire Pacific (20%), Cathay Pacific Airways (10%), Jardine Pacific (25%), Wharf (Holdings) (12.5%), Hutchison International Port Holdings (12.5%), China National Aviation Corporation (10%) and CITIC Pacific (10%).
