Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has recently taken a slate of top honours in polls conducted by the noted international financial magazine Euromoney. SHKP topped Euromoney's 2006 Asia's Best Companies poll following its success in the same magazine's Real Estate Awards in September. Eight first-place rankings for Asia and Hong Kong in the two polls put SHKP at the top of the Hong Kong corporate ladder.
The latest Asia's Best Companies poll surveyed market analysts at leading banks and research institutes in Asia, asking them to rate 223 Asian companies on market strength, profitability, growth potential and quality of management and earnings. SHKP won six firsts across Asia and Hong Kong: Best at Property, Most Accessible Senior Management and Most Useful and Informative Website in Asia, plus Best Managed Company, Most Convincing and Coherent Strategy and Most Transparent Accounts in Hong Kong. These accolades follow two number-one places in Euromoney's Real Estate Awards announced in September. The total of eight top honours is unmatched in Hong Kong.
