Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) announced today that Anita Chan has been appointed Sales Director in the Special Projects department of the Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency. She will lead a new sales team responsible for the strategy and marketing behind various SHKP developments.
SHKP Vice Chairman & Managing Director Raymond Kwok said: "Given that we have a large portfolio of property for sale, we need to bolster our sales force by adding a third team to the two now in place. Ms Chan has done an impressive job since joining us, and we reward talented people with promotions and professional advancement. Anita certainly deserves this new position." Mr Kwok also said he is confident that Ms Chan's marketing energy and experience will produce good results and reinforce SHKP's leading market position.
Ms Chan joined SHKP in 1995 and was made Deputy General Manager of the Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency in 2000. She has been involved in marketing both luxury and large-scale residential projects, including The Arch, 1 Homantin Hill, The Leighton Hill and Park Island. The Hong Kong Management Association gave The Leighton Hill a gold award for Marketing Excellence in 2001 and The Arch an award for Marketing Excellence in 2005. Ms Chan won the Association's 2005 award for Marketing Excellence / Distinguished Marketer.
Ms Chan has over 18 years experience in property and marketing. She is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. She won the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Hong Kong)'s Stephen Ho Award in 2003 and earned a master's degree in Marketing from Napier University in 2005.
