The Sun Hung Kai Properties Nobel Laureates Distinguished Lectures, organized by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), will be held on 3 June. A limited number of free tickets were allotted to the public so that more could enjoy the inspiring lectures by the three Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences and the three world-renowned economists. Due to keen demand, all free tickets for the public have already been claimed.

The tickets were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, starting from 10:00 am today in three outlets across Hong Kong, namely, the Shatin campus of CUHK and the Learning Centre of the CUHK School of Continuing Studies in Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. Response was overwhelming with all the tickets gone within the same day.

SHKP and CUHK wish to thank members of the public for their interest in the lectures. Video footage of the lectures will be available online shortly after the lectures finish on 3 June, so that those who cannot attend can still benefit from the valuable insight of some of the world's best economists.

The theme of the lectures is "Emergence of China in the World Economy". There will be two public lectures and two public panels. Panelists include Mr. Kwok Kwok Chuen, Government Economist; and Dr. Victor Fung, Chairman of Li & Fung Group.
