A design team sponsored by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has taken first place in the West Kowloon Reclamation Concept Plan Competition with its plans for transforming the reclamation site into a world-class cultural quarter for Hong Kong. The SHKP-sponsored team was led by noted architect Norman Foster.
Walter Kwok, SHKP Chairman and Chief Executive, said the developer was extremely pleased with the results. He explained, "The West Kowloon Development will be a new landmark on Victoria Harbour and a symbol of Hong Kong in the 21st century. We are delighted to have been able to play a part in creating the design concept for this milestone development."
