SHKP creates 'Signature Homes' to handle luxury residential leasing

The Sun Hung Kai Properties Group (SHKP) announced the creation of Signature Homes, a new brand name for all its luxury residential developments. Its property portfolio is the largest in Hong Kong, totalling 1.4 million square feet, and occupancy of the developments is 96%. The serviced apartments in Phase Two of International Finance Centre and the Airport Railway Kowloon Station Development Packages 5, 6 and 7 will soon be included in the portfolio, adding another one million square feet.

SHKP's Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Raymond Kwok, General Manager (Leasing) in Special Projects, Samson Chu, and Signature Homes' Managing Director Iris Chiu, marked the formation of Signature Homes today (November 12).

Signature Homes properties are all superior, deluxe residential developments either owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties or leased under this new brand. They include Dynasty Court, Le Palais, 3 Repulse Bay Road, 127 Repulse Bay Road, Pacific View, The Harbourview, Hillsborough Court, 8 Deep Water Bay Road, 51, 55 and 63 Deep Water Bay Road, 37 Severn Road, 12 Shouson Hill Road, Hamilton Court, Coral Villas and The Royal Plaza Serviced Suites. The portfolio has a mix of luxury apartments, detached and semi-detached houses and serviced hotel suites. To date, leasing has been very satisfactory, with occupancy currently reaching 96%.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Kwok said "Hong Kong is an international metropolis and a gathering point for executives of multinational companies, so I remain confident about the future of the luxury leasing market. According to Government figures, the total number of overseas companies that have set up their headquarters in Hong Kong has increased for three consecutive years, and this year the number grew by 8% to a record high of 3,200. The agreement for China's accession to the WTO was just signed and business activities by multinationals in Hong Kong are expected to increase, so the demand for luxury property leasing is bound to rise in the future. Signature Homes is set to grasp this golden opportunity and reap the rewards it offers."

Almost all the residences under Signature Homes enjoy prime locations on the Peak and Island South, with unparalleled views of Victoria Harbour or the South China Sea. Many are close to yacht, golf and country clubs. The developments offer a peaceful living space for residents, and at the same time enjoy easy transportation with direct connections to the core business area of Central, which makes them the first choice of senior executives from large enterprises looking for accommodation.

IFC II will provide 600 serviced hotel suites occupying 600,000 square feet of gross floor area. The serviced apartments in Kowloon Station Development Packages 5, 6 and 7 are now being planned, and both developments will be grouped under Signature Homes upon completion, making the portfolio even bigger and more prestigious.

To give tenants full enjoyment of their living space, Signature Homes has gone all out to offer one-stop service. The highly-skilled, professional leasing team will handle all leasing matters, offer market research and strategy planning, liaise on repairs, and take special care of daily concerns after occupancy. In keeping with the high status of its tenants, Signature Homes has introduced the SignatuRep, a well-trained customer service ambassador to provide six-star service. Tenants can get all the help they need from the SignatuRep, simply by dialing a number and explaining what they want.

The Signature Club is another feature of Signature Homes. Tenants will receive an informative newsletter with the latest news about lifestyle, shopping and cultural events. In addition, club members will get the latest information about SHKP's new luxury properties and first priority in viewing show flats for these developments.
