Park Central is a new residential project being jointly developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, Henderson Land, the Chinachem Group and Nan Fung Development. The property is situated within a comprehensive transport network and close to the Tseung Kwan O MTR station that will open at the end of next year, so Hong Kong Island will be just a ten-minute ride away. Set in what will be the new heart of the district, Park Central is expected to dominate the market upon its release and be immensely popular with buyers.

The developers have created a large-scale replica of the Tseung Kwan O MTR station in the sales office, leading to the show flats for the property, as a novel way to highlight the excellent transportation available.

Martin C Brown, Head of Operations with the MTR Corporation, Alain Chung, Park Central's Deputy Project Director and the Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency's Executive Director Alfred So and General Manager Eric Chow took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the show flats today. SHKP Club members will get a special advance preview of the show flats on October 26 and 27.

Park Central is being developed in two phases. The first phase has five blocks, with units ranging in size from over 500 to over 900 square feet. There will be a choice of two or three bedroom units, including some three bedroom units with en suite master bathroom. The first phase of Park Central will be handed over by the end of 2002. The developers have obtained sales consent for Blocks 7 and 8, which contain 736 high-quality units. They are expected to go on the market soon.

Within easy reach of the MTR

When the Tseung Kwan O MTR station goes into service at the end of next year, it will only take residents 10 minutes to reach Quarry Bay, 17 minutes to Causeway Bay, 24 minutes to Central and 25 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui. Residents will have the added convenience of a planned covered footbridge to the MTR. The area will also be a transportation hub, with a taxi rank and many bus and minibus routes available nearby.

Located in the heart of Tseung Kwan O

Park Central enjoys a prime location in the heart of Tseung Kwan O. The property has been designed to offer a healthy living environment, and residents will be able to take advantage of a brand new clubhouse with full facilities and a landscaped garden covering 250,000 square feet. There will also be a grand 350,000 square-foot shopping centre supplying residents' daily needs. In addition, the Government is planning to build a public library, swimming pool and sports hall next to the development, and there are now five primary and four secondary schools in the neighbourhood. With its many advantages, Park Central has significant growth potential, and it is expected to be very popular with buyers.
