Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) announced today that Andrew So has been appointed as Special Assistant to Raymond Kwok, SHKP's Vice Chairman and Managing Director. Mr So is a Harvard graduate with over ten years' experience in the fields of management and technology consulting. In recent years he has worked in Silicon Valley and elsewhere, formulating and executing different strategies for IT companies. Mr So will be involved in developing SHKP's IT related businesses.

Before joining SHKP, Mr So was Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Greater China, with Digitas Asia Limited, a major e-business service provider headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Mr So was in charge of establishing Digitas' first presence in Asia to serve global and local clients. Prior to that, he was Managing Director (Telecommunications) with Scient, a Silicon Valley e-business service provider, responsible for business development and client delivery in Asia. Mr So also worked for the international consulting firms Accenture and Gemini Consulting, in San Francisco, Boston and London. He has both a BA and MBA from Harvard University in the USA.
