First online property management system - Super eManagement

(May 3, 2001) Kai Shing Management Services, a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), is taking the lead using Super eManagement, the first online property management system, which was designed and developed by SUNeVision Red-Dots. The system gives Kai Shing the most efficient operations and allows it to provide the best customer service, as befits a premium estate management company.

The brand-new system was developed by Red-Dots, the e-commerce arm of SUNeVision. It uses an open and scalable web-based platform to offer comprehensive property management solutions in Kai Shing's residential and office buildings, increasing operational efficiency dramatically and producing substantial cost savings.

With the new system, customer enquiries, reports and records are centralized in a single web-enabled system, allowing staff to give an immediate response to customers after retrieving the related details. In addition, the central bank of repair records for newly-completed estates allows quick follow-up on maintenance, while owners can check on the progress of work via the Internet. Online enquiries and payment of management fees also offer great financial flexibility. From an operational perspective, daily administrative and management processes are streamlined for professional property management. The site records now give management full control over creating, searching, viewing, editing and printing. Regardless of distance, management can centrally monitor all site offices with the flexibility to modify the function matrix for different user groups.

The system has been successfully applied in over 20 properties managed by Kai Shing, including Villa by the Park, Dynasty Court, Royal Ascot, East Point City, Millennium City and New Town Plaza. Expansion to around 100 properties is planned by July 2001.
