May 2 2001, Hong Kong - Developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), Villa by the Park is in the luxury residential area by Yuen Long Town Park. The property will be launched soon. In keeping with the development's modern image, SHKP has recruited the famous designer William Tang as interior design consultant for the property's show flats. In addition, SHKP will give the first three buyers free image and interior design consultancy by Mr Tang.

The show flats for Villa by the Park are on the 2nd Floor of the Sun Yuen Long Centre shopping mall. All the units in Villa by the Park have extra large windows allowing residents to enjoy the greenery views.

The two-bedroom unit is designed for singles and young couples. The decor has a modern feel to it, in the now-popular FUSION culture. Mr Tang suggested the use of various ornaments like handicrafts plus assorted plants. The three- bedroom show flat, which is designed for small families, has also embraced the FUSION culture trend.

Mr Tang said, "FUSION culture is the most popular design concept at the moment. The idea has been largely seen in fashion and interior design, but has extended to cuisine and even lifestyle. The concept of "Mix & Match" such as the incorporation of the East and West, I.T. culture mixing with the classic style. These are the best elements for city life. Villa by the Park demonstrates all of these elements with its architectural design. The show flats of the development hope to give out the same vibes as well."

Villa by the Park consists of four 31-storey high-rise buildings with 832 units ranging from more than 500 to over 700 sq. ft.. It is the tallest residential development in the Yuen Long Town Park district, and over 90% of the units enjoy lush green views. Of these, 50% have views of the 800,000 sq.-ft. Yuen Long Town Park, while the rest can enjoy green mountain views and Deep Bay.
