Hong Kong, February 21, 2001 - Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited and New World Development Company Limited, joint developers of the premium property, The Parcville, announced that 100 units will be available for internal sale on Friday night (February 23) at 7:00pm. The response has been very enthusiastic so far, with over 1,600 registrations for internal sale.

Eric Chow, General Manager of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency, said, "The 40 units that were released for internal sale last Sunday evening (February 18) were quickly bought up in two hours at prices ranging from HK$2,600 to HK$2,800 per square foot. This clearly demonstrates a great market demand for quality small to medium-size property, and so, we have decided to release more units for internal sale."

Mr. Chow continued, "We have also received a lot of inquiries from buyers in recent days asking if more units will go on sale to the public. We are carefully considering this matter and will make an announcement at the appropriate time. Also, we will not rule out raising prices for the second batch."

The Parcville is located next to the West Rail Yuen Long Station, and comprises 14 luxury towers ranging from 13 to 15 storeys. The Parcville offers 1,618 units between 606 and 919 square feet, with 80% efficiency and nine-foot ceilings. The Parcville is scheduled for handover in the second half of next year, and the first 32 units to go on sale are in blocks 1, 5, 7 and 15, priced from HK$950,000. Registrations will be accepted from February 26 to 28, ballot results announced on March 2, and flat selection will be held on March 3.
