YOHO MIDTOWN marketing kicks off today
Only new development by West Rail in 2010 to go on sale in the first quarter
YOHO MIDTOWN is one of Sun Hung Kai Properties' (SHKP) major new residential developments in the New Territories West and the only large project near the West Rail in 2010. Pre-sale consent has been issued and the project should go on sale in the first quarter of the year. SHKP announced a HK$30 million marketing campaign today to tell people about the exceptional features of the development.
Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Project Director - Sales Amy Teo said: "YOHO MIDTOWN is at the core of SHKP's New Territories West development plan. The developer's investment of over HK$10 billion in the New Territories West means that the area is in for some drastic changes. It will become the gateway of northwestern Hong Kong, fostering closer economic ties with the mainland. We have received over 6,000 enquiries from potential buyers since YOHO MIDTOWN was announced, which shows the popular anticipation. YOHO MIDTOWN will be the only new development by the West Rail Yuen Long station with a 24-hour pedestrian footbridge from the shopping complex. The Yuen Long MTR journey to East Tsim Sha Tsui takes only 24 minutes. There are several cross-border routes including ones with 24-hour clearance through Huanggang and the Hong Kong-Shenzhen West Corridor that get commuters to the mainland in ten minutes. YOHO MIDTOWN will be the first residential development on Route 3, offering a convenient location and market potential."
The YOHO MIDTOWN's HK$30-million marketing campaign will start with billboards in busy areas like Causeway Bay, along Route 3 and at the Tai Lam Tunnel, followed by other outdoor advertising in different phases. The theme is 'Individual, Connectivity, Space', with a radiating cube representing the possibilities of life in red, orange, yellow and green. Residents will have a dynamic, harmonious environment within a happy community.
Ms Teo added that there have been continuous enquiries and that interest in YOHO MIDTOWN is expected to rise after the marketing campaign starts. SHKP will offer a variety of units in the development including one- to four-bedroom units; the exceptional one-bedroom units and units over 1,000 sq ft that only YOHO MIDTOWN will have in Yuen Long. SHKP is confident that the development will attract splinter families from the district and investors from other parts of Hong Kong.
Planning of the phase two soft launch activities which include a series of road shows is underway. A YOHO MIDTOWN gallery and show flats in Sun Yuen Long Centre at the Yuen Long MTR station are being readied to open prior to sales.
Million-sq-ft shopping complex - biggest in New Territories West
YOHO MIDTOWN's retail podium will be connected to other YOHO retail sections to form the largest shopping complex in the New Territories West. This premium shopping complex will boast a total retail space of about one million square feet. There will be promenades connecting all of YOHO Town and the MTR station to offer a dynamic, chic and international flair with ample facilities including a theatre plaza, innovative concept stores, indoor and outdoor eateries and more. The diverse shopping and entertainment options will provide YOHO residents a superior lifestyle.
YOHO happy community
YOHO will be a model happy community. SHKP wants to provide a cosmopolitan, vibrant, carefree, healthy and happy community for the young-at-heart who value quality of life and family and personal relationships. YOHO MIDTOWN will follow YOHO Town by merging the 'Individual' - personal elements, 'Connectivity' - bringing people together with comprehensive transport and 'Space' - extensive living space. The project reflects SHKP's commitment to making YOHO MIDTOWN a healthy and happy community with a brand-new lifestyle concept for residents.
About YOHO MIDTOWN
