3 GOES INNSBRUCK.
As of yesterday all Innsbruckers and Tyroleans between Zirl and Wattens can put the future of Mobile Multi Media into their pockets. Video telephony users also get voice calls for unprecedented prices - 0,4 Cents calls across all Austrian networks, 24 hours a day.
"We are glad, that starting with Innsbruck we made the first important step towards western Austria. More cities - Klagenfurt, Wels, Bregenz, Dornbirn and Villach - are coming this year" said Berthold Thoma, CEO Hutchison 3G Austria.
NEC e808 NOW IN THE STORES.
3 has already introduced its second UMTS handset to come on the market. The new handset by NEC doesn't even remind one of old mobile phones. It is ultra slim, has a large colour screen, and includes two built-in cameras for video calls, capturing video, and still images. The NEC e808 has 64 MB memory, an alphanumeric (QWERTY) keyboard, a USB-interface as well as an email client. That makes it into a real mobile office.
The NEC e808Y is just one of a many new video mobiles that will be available on 3's network over the next months. "It is very important for us to offer our customers a wide choice of premium handsets. Therefore we will continue to expand our range of video mobiles by launching a new mobile nearly every month" says Berthold Thoma.
MOBILE MULTI MEDIA FROM "3" AT NiEDERMEYER.
And now at Multi-media provider NiEDERMEYER: 3Mobiles - as Hutchison calls its UMTS Handsets - accompanied by the services and products of "3.," the UMTS utensil for telephony with moving pictures, accompanied by the network coverage of 3 will be offered in 70 select branches.
