(February 28, 2001, HONG KONG) - Metro Broadcast Corporation Limited ("Metro Broadcast") today announced the appointment of Alice Kwok as Executive Chief Editor of Metro Finance effective March 1, 2001. She is responsible for Metro Finance's front-line news editing and assists Chiu Kwok On, Chief Editor, in overseeing the channel's editing and reporting direction.
Alice Kwok has over 20 years of media experience spanning from established publications, TV channels and new media groups. They include Hong Kong Economic Journal, Rediffusion TV Limited, Financial Daily, TVB News and Public Affairs, Television Division of Radio Television Hong Kong, Apple Daily and PCCW. Ms Kwok graduated with BA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in economics.
Sung Man Hei, Chief Operation Officer of Metro Finance said, "Alice Kwok has extensive experience in the industry and brilliant news sense. Her precious media experience will surely add value to Metro Finance. In addition to news editing, she is the producer of 'Francis Leung's Chatroom' and 'The Successful People in Charles Chan's Eyes'.
