Rosh Ha'ayin, Israel - July 31, 2000 - Partner Communications Company Ltd. (NASDAQ: PTNR), in cooperation with Trendline (TASE: TREN), announced today the launch of a joint cellular business website providing orange* subscribers with real-time, mobile business and financial information.
The "orange bizportal" website enables cellular users to personalize the financial information he or she requires. The information provided to the cellular handset includes share quotes and portfolio management tools, indexes, currency exchange rates, access to press releases made to the Tel-Aviv stock exchange, as well as a wide variety of information regarding financial reports and financial news.
The on-line financial services will be provided using bi-directional SMS (Short Message System) delivered directly to the orange* subscribers' cellular handsets. The service will enable subscribers of the orange* network in Israel to receive financial information both in Israel and abroad.
Commenting on the agreement, Amikam Cohen, CEO of Partner Communications said: "The "orange bizportal" provides orange* subscribers real-time access to the financial world, adding significant value to the portfolio of innovative services provided by Partner."
