[Jakarta - 30 May 2006] Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT), a joint venture between Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) and P.T. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (PELINDO II), through its "JICT Care" programme will contribute US$100,000 in cash to the citizens affected by this tragedy. Apart from that, JICT has announced to waive all handling charges on containers bringing relief supplies to the affect areas.

Bambang Bhakti, President Director of JICT commented, "The management and employees of JICT express our deepest condolences to the victims and their family of the quake. Our donation is small compared to the size of the damage that the quake has done but I believe if everyone of us joins hands together to support what we can, hopefully the survivors will be able to rebuild their lives as soon as possible."
