3 strengthens the offer to businesses: with "PowerFull",
the videophone, together with a laptop makes data
communication in mobility even easier

2 new tariff plans; a new option dedicated to professionals; currently 61% of the population and over 900 Italian cities are covered.

Also for the business market, February is a month full of news from 3, the Mobile Video Company of the Hutchison Whampoa Group that was the first to launch third generation mobile communication services in Italy.

With the UMTS technology of 3 the whole range of 3G services are available, from voice to high-speed data transmission. Up till now there are over 900 Italian cities directly covered by 3, which corresponds to the 61% of the population. Due to the roaming deal with TIM, data transmission will be soon available also in GPRS mode, with the "always on" functionality, in the areas not directly covered by 3.

There are a number of innovations that aim to turn the Videophone, together with the laptop, into the ideal workstation for those who often work out of the office. After having made possible the world of data in mobility both fast and convenient, 3 for Business, the 3 offer created with Italian businesses in mind, continues along the street embarked upon with the success by the Power option, that offers 50 or 150 MB of included data traffic for a monthly fee of 25 o 50 euro. This option has been subscribed to by over 70% of new business customers.

"PowerFull". Dedicated to those users who do an intensive amount of mobile communication, at a cost of 96 a month, PowerFull offers, every week, 5 hours of calls towards the 3 network, fixed line numbers and other mobile networks, 5 hours of VideoCalls, 50 SMS, 25 MMS as well as 15 MB to surf the web, to read e-mail and to for access to the company LAN through the InAzienda service.

"inTREnet.plus". Created for those who more than anything need to communicate towards fixed lines as well as their own company, at a cost of 25 a month, InTrenet.plus offers, every week, 5 hours of voice calls towards the 3 network and fixed lines, 5 hours of VideoCalls and 30 e-mail (sent/received from 3 Business Portal). In addition, with inTREnet.plus there's a single tariff of 15c/min (IVA excluded) for calls towards all other mobile networks.

The tariff option Power becomes even more advantageous and easier to be use because it will be applicable also to e-mail. Starting from February 2nd, in fact, all the traffic generated in "dual box" mode, meaning using the videophone as a modem together with the laptop, is considered part of the data charged according to the special Power tariff.

Other important news, regarding the launch of the "Prof" tariff option that extends the advantages of the "3 for Business" company network also to external collaborators that desire a stronger integration with the company. By subscribing to the Prof option, the consultant becomes a part of the private company network and can take advantage of the special voice and video tariffs and the InRete service.
