To address travellers' growing demand for seamless travel protection in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the new travel service bundle combines a 24-hour travel data plan with a 24-hour travel insurance plan. This bundle offers travellers great convenience and peace of mind, coupled with a seamless digital experience.
Integrating travel data with insurance coverage for seamless protection
The 24-hour / GBA Travel Pro Pass ensures that SoSIM customers receive insurance coverage as soon as they activate their travel data plans, revolutionising how travellers buy insurance policy and allowing them to focus on planning their trips.
As frequent travellers to the GBA often enjoy impromptu travel, the Pass provides flexibility and protection from the start of their journey. When they return to Hong Kong and switch back to local data, the insurance coverage automatically ends, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The Pass sets a new standard for travel protection and is ideal for a 2-day, 1-night trip within a 24-hour time frame. It can cover a trip up to a maximum of 10 days.
The 24-hour / GBA Travel Pro Pass, a market-first^ service integrating SoSIM's 24-hour travel data pass with Zurich's insurance coverage, is available for SoSIM customers for HK$19.9. The bundle includes 500MB of GBA travel data entitlement and 500MB of Hong Kong data entitlement, alongside the Zurich GBA Go! Insurance Plan. The one-stop purchasing experience simplifies travel preparation. SoSIM customers subscribing to the 24-hour / GBA Travel Pro Pass will receive protection from the Zurich GBA Go! Insurance Plan without having to buy the policy separately.
