Hong Kong, 29 April 2024 - Hutchison Telecommunications (Hong Kong) Limited (HTHK) is committed to ensuing mobile telecoms security for customers and combating the increasingly rampant phone scams. Following the previous offer of the free Incoming Calls Management Pack to customers aged 65 or above last year, HTHK announces that it will lower the age requirement to 60 years old starting today. This will allow more customers to enjoy comprehensive mobile security services for free, fully supporting the administration to combat phone scams.
3 Hong Kong and SUPREME* customers aged 60 or above can apply for the free Incoming Calls Management Pack, consisting of the "Anti-scam" and "Call Block" value-added services, at all 3Shops and SUPREME shops in Hong Kong. These services assist customers in identifying and blocking scam and nuisance calls, minimising the risks of being scammed. Other HTHK customers can subscribe to the pack for a monthly fee of HK$28 to enjoy comprehensive protection for their personal mobile security.
The "Anti-scam" service filters the lists of scam phone numbers provided by the Police and HTHK. The service automatically identifies and stops scam calls on a mobile network level, minimising customer risks of being scammed and disturbed. The lists of scam phone numbers are updated from time to time. "Anti-scam" service supports all mobile devices and customers need not download any app. "Call Block" service enables customers to set up a personalised blacklist for phone calls and block unknown calls.
