Hong Kong, 1 August 2016 - 3 Hong Kong and Hutchison Global Communications Limited (HGC), the mobile and fixed-line divisions of Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH; stock code: 215), today announced imminent launch of big value LeSports Super Sports Pack bundles. These will feature a rich OTT (Over-the-Top) entertainment experience in the form of favourite sporting action such as English Premier League football. Coverage will be delivered by 3 Hong Kong and 3Home Broadband via 4G LTE and WiFi networks, as well as home broadband services.

Popularity of OTT entertainment is growing on a global scale. For example, a survey4 shows OTT TV and video revenues in Asia Pacific will more than double over the next five years, suggesting huge development potential for OTT entertainment.

3 Hong Kong has designed two packages so football fans can watch action on smart devices at special rates. New and select existing customers can apply for the Super Sports Data Pack, which is priced at just $250 per month and comes complete with 1GB data every month1. What's more, customers can get a rebate of up to $102 every month2 during the promotion period, whereas members of the 3Supreme Club can get 2GB of data per month1. Subscribers are able to watch English Premier League and other exciting sports programming for two years.
The Super Sports and Entertainment Pack1 was tailored to suit "night owl" viewers, as well as football fans. For just $280 per month, customers can enjoy the LeSports Super Sports Pack, myTV SUPER basic pack, TVB Premium Subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) and the Night Fever unlimited data plan5 - and get a monthly rebate2 of up to $112 during the promotion period. In addition, 3 Hong Kong's 4G LTE customers can benefit from unlimited WiFi. Watching sports action has never been easier!
Until 31 August, new and select existing customers subscribing to 3 Hong Kong's mobile service with the Samsung Galaxy C7 (64GB)6 and choosing to sign up to the Super Sports Data Pack or Super Sports and Entertainment Pack3 are entitled to an extra 1GB1 of data every month during the mobile service subscription contract period.
