First Capital Corporation Ltd
- Change of Company Name to "GuocoLand Limited"

First Capital Corporation Ltd which is a subsidiary of Guoco Group Limited ("Guoco") listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, has obtained its shareholders' approval to change its company name to GuocoLand Limited ("GuocoLand") on 15 November 2002. The new name indicates the position of GuocoLand as a core property flagship of Guoco and allows GuocoLand to leverage on the goodwill established by Guoco for further development.

GuocoLand principally engages in property investment and development and investment holding.

Guoco is a Hong Kong listed company (Stock Code: 053), whose subsidiaries and associated companies are principally engaged in treasury, fund and investment management, stock and commodity broking, investment advisory, insurance, banking and finance as well as property development and investment.
