FIRST PACIFIC ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR
The board of directors of First Pacific Company Limited announces the resignation of Mr. David G. Eastlake as an executive director of the Company with effect from today, 19 April 2001.
Mr. Eastlake, who joined First Pacific in February 1997, served as an executive director of First Pacific from December 1999, and also served on the boards of a number of Group companies including First Pacific Davies, Berli Jucker, Savills plc, Escotel and Infrontier. Mr. Eastlake has tendered his resignation in order to pursue another opportunity that has arisen.
The board of directors of the Company wishes to express its sincere gratitude for the dedicated service and professionalism that characterised Mr. Eastlake's tenure with the Group, and wish him well in his future endeavours.
