（香港，2018 年 7 月 3 日）長江和記實業有限公司（「長江和記」）今天宣佈達成一項收購 VEON 於 Wind Tre 50% 股權的協議。
是次交易將令長江和記得以全資擁有一家在具吸引力市場營運的主要電訊商，讓集團在整合這項重要電訊資產方面，邁出關鍵一步，並能更有效益地創建全球化電訊業務平台，以提供新一代產品和服務。
繼 2016 年合併 Wind 及 Tre 後，是次 24.5 億歐羅全現金交易，將使長江和記更有效地推展合併後的業務整合，加快實現協同效應。是次交易將令長江和記股東的盈利及自由現金流得到即時及重大裨益。
Wind Tre 於 2017 年的業績為長江和記集團貢獻逾 10 億歐羅應佔 EBITDA （息稅折舊及攤銷前利潤）及逾 8 億歐羅應佔 EBIT（息稅前利潤）。透過收購 Wind Tre 全部股權，長江和記可增加集團於未來的經常性收入，大大提高每股盈利，為股東創造上佳價值。

交易仍須取得歐盟及意大利的監管機構批准，預期交易將於 2018 年第三季完成。
