The board of directors of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the seventeenth board meeting for the board of directors of the Company was held on 21st December 1999 for the purposes of approving certain changes in the senior management of the Company. |
The board of directors of the Company (the "board") is pleased to announce that the seventeenth board meeting of the Company was held on 21st December 1999 at the headquarters of the Company in Shanghai and the following resolutions regarding changes in the senior management of the Company were passed at the meeting:
1. That Mr. Fu Yunbi has resigned from the office of chairman of the Board, and Mr. Li Zhongming is appointed as the chairman of the Board after resigning from his office as the vice chairman of the Board;
2. That Mr. Li Zhongming has resigned from his office as the president of the Company and Mr. Shen Zejiang is appointed as the president of the Company;
3. That Messrs. Xiao Liyuan, Zhong Xiong and Wu Yulin are appointed as the vice president of the Company; and
4. That Messrs. Xu Minzhu and Yan Banghong have resigned from the office of vice president of the Company and Mr. Cao Jianxiong has resigned from the office of vice president and chief financial officer of the Company.
