Summary The board of directors of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that at the board meeting of the Company which was held on 18 December 2000, certain changes in the management of the Company were approved.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that the board meeting of the Company was held on 18 December 2000, and the following resolutions regarding certain changes in the management of the Company were passed at the meeting:

1. that Mr. Shen Zejiang has resigned from the office as the president of the Company;

2. that Mr. Xiao Liyuan has resigned from the office as the vice president of the Company;

3. that Mr. Liu Shaoyong is appointed as the president of the Company; and

4. that Mr. Wan Mingwu is appointed as the vice president of the Company.
