

Senior management is the executive body of the Bank and reports to the Board of Directors. The senior management is composed of the President, Executive Vice Presidents, Chief Finance Officer, Chief Information Officer and Chief Risk Officer. The Bank implements a President Responsibility System under the leadership of the Board of Directors, under which the President reports to the Board of Directors while all functional departments, branches and other senior executives report to the President.

Li Jun, Vice Chairman & President
Mr. Li Jun, aged 51, has served as the Vice Chairman of the Board and President of the Bank since September 2006. From August 1975 to October 1985, Mr. Li worked at the Wuhan Branch of the PBOC. From October 1985 Mr. Li served successively as the Deputy Manager of the Credit Division of, and the Manager of the Technological Renovation Credit Division of, the Wuhan Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Mr. Li joined the Wuhan Branch of the Bank in October 1990, and served successively as the Deputy General Manager and Governor of the Bank's Wuhan Branch from January 1991. Mr. Li served as the Controller General of the Bank in April 1998, as a director and the Controller General of the Bank in June 2000, as a director, Vice President and the Controller General of the Bank in November 2000, as a managing director and Vice President of the Bank in April 2001, and as a director and Vice President of the Bank in June 2004. Mr. Li received a master's degree in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1995.
Peng Chun, Executive Director & EVP
Mr. Peng Chun, aged 45, has served as the Executive Director of the Board and Vice President of the Bank since August 2005. From July 1981 to September 1983 Mr. Peng worked at the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Branch of PBOC. From August 1986 to January 1989 he worked at Xinjiang Finance and Economics Institute, serving successively as a Lecturer and Head of the Teaching and Research Section at the Finance Department, Assistant Director of the Scientific Research Department and Deputy Head of the Economic Research Institute. From January 1989 to January 1994, Mr. Peng served successively as Deputy Chief of the Division of Industry, Finance and Trade of the Policy Research Office, Researcher at Division level, Chief of the Division of Economics of the Communist Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Mr. Peng joined the Urumqi Branch of the Bank in January 1994. He served as Vice President and President of the Urumqi Branch since April 1994, President of the Bank's Nanning Branch since November 1997, President of the Bank's Guangzhou Branch since June 1999 and assistant to President of the Bank from September 2001 to June 2004. He was a Director and assistant to President of the Bank from June 2004 to September 2004. Mr. Peng received a master degree in economics from the graduate school of the People's Bank of China in 1986.
Qian Wenhui, Executive Director & EVP
Mr. Qian Wenhui, aged 45, has served as Vice President of the Bank since October 2004. Mr. Qian worked at the Shanghai Branch of the Construction Bank of China from July 1985 to April 2000, serving successively as Chief of the Planning Section, Deputy Chief of the Comprehensive Planning Division, Deputy General Manager of the Business Department, Deputy General Manager of the General Business Management Department and Manager of Credit Department concurrently, Deputy General Manager of the General Business Management Department, General Manager of the Market Development Department, General Manager of Planning and Finance Department and Vice President of that Branch. From April 2000 to October 2001 Mr. Qian was seconded to the Headquarters of the Construction Bank of China. From October 2001 to October 2004, he served successively as Director of the General Office of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee and concurrently Vice President of the Shanghai Branch, Director of the General Office of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee and Director of the System Reform Office and Vice President of the Shanghai Branch concurrently, General Manager of the Assets and Liabilities Management Department, and General Manager of the Assets and Liabilities Management Department and Director of the Restructuring Office concurrently, of the Construction Bank of China. From October 2004 to August 2007, Mr. Qian has served as Vice President of the Bank of Communications, and has concurrently served as President of the Shanghai Branch of the Bank of Communications from July 2005 to October 2006. Since August 2007, Mr. Qian is the Bank's Director and Executive Vice President. Mr. Qian received an MBA degree from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 1998.
Wang Bing, EVP
Mr. Wang Bing, aged 49, has served as Executive Vice President of the Bank since May 2005. From July 1983 to July 1985, he worked at Bureau of Commerce and the System Reform Commission of Heilongjiang Province. From July 1985 to September 1990 he was consecutively deputy section chief, section-chief-level secretary and deputy-division-chief secretary at the Administration Department of Heilongjiang Provincial Government. From September 1990 to June 1991 he worked as Vice Director of People's Bank of China Heilongjiang Province Branch. From June 1991 to December 1993 he worked as division-chief-level secretary and division chief of Administration Department of People's Bank of China. From December 1993 to January 2000 he work at Agricultural Development Bank of China, consecutively as director of the Preparation Office, Vice Director of Administration Department, Director of Administration Department, Deputy General Manager of Jiangxi Province Branch, General Manager of Jiangxi Province Branch. From January 2000 to April 2005 he worked at Bank of Communications as Deputy General Manager of Beijing Branch, General Manager of Tianjin Branch, General Manager of Beijing Branch. Mr. Wang received Doctor Degree of Economics from Nankai University with in 2005.
Yu Yali, EVP & CFO
Ms. Yu Yali has served as the Bank's EVP & CFO since May 2007. Madam Yu Yali held different posts at the People's Bank of China from December 1979 to February 1993, including the accountant of the accounting section of Lushan County Sub-Branch, the People's Bank of China, vice director of the section and vice governor of Lushan Sub-Branch, vice director-general and director-general of audit department of Ping Ding Shan City Branch, the People's Bank of China. She joined Zhengzhou Branch, Bank of Communications in February 1993 and served as director-general of financial accounting department and Deputy General Manager of the Branch. From November 1996 to August 2004, she served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Financial Accounting Department of the head office of the Bank. From August 2004 to May 2007, she served as chief finance officer, while concurrently serving as the General Manager of the Financial Accounting Department of the head office of the Bank from August 2004 to December 2004, and as the General Manager of the Budget and Finance Department of the head office of the Bank from December 2004 to July 2005. Ms Yu received MBA degree from Fudan University in 2006.
Shou Meisheng, Secretary of Discipline Committee
Mr. Shou served as the Secretary of Discipline Committee since May 2007. Mr. Shou was a teacher at Shaoxing Shuren Yuejing Middle school from September 1974 to February 1979, and studied at Zhejiang Industry University from February 1979 to January 1982. He worked at Shaoxing Machine Tool Factory from January 1982 to March 1984. From March 1984 to August 1988 he served at the Deputy Director of the Planning Commission of Xinchang County, Shaoxing Municipality. From August 1988 to January 1992 he served as the Deputy Director of the Planning Commission of Shaoxing Municipality. Mr. Shou joined Bank of Communications in January 1992 as the Deputy General Manager of Shaoxing Branch until November 1992 when he was appointed as the General Manager of the Branch. From November 1995 to November 1996 he served as the Deputy General Manager of the Comprehensive Planning Department at the Head Office of the Bank. From November 1996 to June 1998 he served as Deputy General Manager of International Banking Department and concurrently Deputy General Manager of Overseas Institutions Administration Department of Bank of Communications. From June 1998 to May 2005 he served as the General Manager of International Banking Department of Bank of Communications, while from January 2002 to March 2004 he was also the General Manager of Dalian Branch, Bank of Communications. From May 2005 to May 2007 he served as the General Manager of Human Resources Department of Bank of Communications. Mr. Shou received Doctor's Degree of Economics from Northeast China Economics and Finance University in 2006.
Dicky Peter Yip, Executive Vice President
Mr. Dicky Peter Yip served as Executive Vice President of Bank of Communications since May 2005. Before joining Bank of Communications, Mr. Yip worked at HSBC with working experiences in London, China and San Francisco. At HSBC he worked in a number of departments, which include Trade Services, Corporate Banking, Group Consultancy Service and Regional Training. From January 2003 to May 2005, he was Chief Executive China Business of HSBC, based in Shanghai. Mr. Yip was educated in Hong Kong with an MBA from University of Hong Kong.
Hou Weidong, Chief Information Officer
Mr. Hou Weidong, aged 47, has served as Chief Information Officer of Bank of Communications since August 2004. Mr. Hou held different posts at the North District Office of Qingdao Branch, People's Bank of China, including Associate at Accounting Division and at Technology Division. From October 1984 to November 1998 he held different posts at Qingdao Branch, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, including Associate of Technology Division, Deputy Director of Computer Division, Deputy Division Chief of Technology Division, General Engineer and General Manager of Qingdao Economic Development Zone Sub-branch. He joined Bank of Communications in April 2002 and held various posts as Deputy General Manager of Computer Department and General Manager of Information Technology Department. Mr. Hou received Master Degree of Economics from Peking University in 2003.
Yang Dongping, Chief Risk Officer
Mr. Yang Dongping, aged 51, has served as Chief Risk Officer of Bank of Communications since May 2007. He worked at Wuhan Procuratorate from December 1980 to January 1984. From January 1984 to May 1989, he worked at Wuhan Audit Bureau as a Section Chief of Personnel Division. He joined Bank of Communications Wuhan Branch in May 1989 and held different posts including Deputy Manager of Securities Business Division, Deputy Division Chief of Credit Division, Manager of International Banking Division, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of the Branch. From September 2003 to May 2007 he successively served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Bank of Communications Hong Kong Branch. Mr. Yang received Master Degree of International Finance from Wuhan University in 1998.
