    Andrew Richard Banks (Chairman, Managing Director and Executive Director)

    Andrew has the rare combination of big-picture strategic vision and a genuine love of hands-on, operational work. After he and Geoff Morgan created, built and ultimately sold Morgan & Banks to TMP/Monster.com in 1999, Andrew spent three years in New York as TMP Global Director. Returning to Australia to work alongside Geoff in their investment company, MBI, he couldn't resist the opportunity to help create a business that would ride the next wave of change in the recruitment industry: Human Resources Outsourcing.

    Geoffrey Keith Morgan (Non Executive Director)

    Geoff joined the Board in September 2003, bringing his keen analytical skills and instinctive understanding of the symbiosis of people and their work. With Andrew Banks he founded Morgan & Banks in early 1985, which listed in 1994, growing sales to more than $A700 million before it was acquired by US-listed company TMP/Monster.com in 1999. Like Andrew, Geoff spent several years with TMP in senior global executive roles. Today he has a hands-on role in Morgan & Banks Investments (MBI) giving Andrew Banks the freedom to focus on Talent2. MBI has principal interests in property and growth businesses, including a major shareholding in Talent2.

    Hans Neilson (Non Executive Director)

    Hans was until recently a Vice President of Hewlett-Packard Company, leading their Human Resources for the Technology Solutions Group in Asia Pacific. Since joining HP in 1976, Hans held numerous management positions including Interim Australia Managing Director (2000) and Managing Director New Zealand (1986 - 1992). He was also a director for Hewlett Packard Australia and New Zealand from 1987 to 2006.

    For over ten years Hans was an evaluator for the Australian Quality Awards and a member of the Victorian State Committee for the Australian Quality Council. Hans has participated in numerous community and industry forums, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree.

    Pam Laidlaw (Non Executive Director)

    Pam graduated from Bernard Baruch College City University in New York with Bachelor of Business Administration, Honours, in 1982 and subsequently qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in New York. Pam worked with Price Waterhouse in New York and Sydney and has also held senior roles in the hospitality and advertising industries.

    Pam joined Morgan & Banks in 1987 when the company had an annual turnover of $50 million and was appointed Group Finance Director in 1989. During her tenure the company underwent various iterations, firstly purchased by UK based staffing company Select Appointments then a management buyout in 1991 and subsequent listing on the ASX in 1994. The company was eventually sold to TMP Worldwide in 1999. Pam had supported growth in revenues to in excess of $750 million when she left the group in 2001.

    Ken Borda (Non Executive Director)

    Ken has had an extensive career spanning over 20 years in Investment Banking in Australia, Asia, Middle East and North Africa.

    During his career, Ken has served on a number of Boards across the region and currently is on the Boards of Santos Limited, Fullerton Funds Management, an Asian asset management fund, owned by Temasek in Singapore, Ithmaar Bank, a listed commercial and investment bank and wealth management group based in Bahrain, and Leighton Contractors Ltd.

    Andrews Richard Banks (Group Managing Director - Hong Kong & Australia)

    Andrew Banks was born in London and immigrated to Australia in 1972 where he began his career as an actor. It wasn't long before Andrew discovered his passion for Human Resources and took the opportunity to travel the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Europe and Africa to build on his human resources experience - experience that would eventually see him start his own business in Australia in 1985 via Morgan & Banks. This was the just the beginning of Andrew's adventure in the Human Resources and Recruitment industry in Australia and abroad.

    Today, Andrew is the largest shareholder of Talent2 and also works within the business as Managing Director. His day to day role is as Managing Partner of the Executive and Board Search division, Talent Partners. This role keeps Andrew connected to the business and in touch with clients and their senior executive appointments.

    Andrew launched Talent2 International (TWO) in 2003, a publicly traded company on the ASX, to focus on HR Outsourcing and Executive Search and Selection. Talent2 International is now a team of 1,700 professionals operating in 19 countries - a result of both organic growth and 15 impressive acquisitions. Before this time he worked with US listed company TMP (a result of the merger with Morgan & Banks) in New York as Global Director. It was an exciting time after a successful 14 years at the helm of Morgan & Banks which he founded with Geoff Morgan in 1985. Morgan & Banks grew to become the dominant recruitment force in Australia and Asia, and commanded 17% market share. At the point the company went public in 1995 sales had grown to over A$800m, before its merger with TMP/Monster.com in 1999.

    Formally educated in Biological Sciences in the UK, Andrew's true education came on the job, developed from real world experience. In 2004 Andrew and Geoff Morgan were recognised formally for their sustained success in business via the Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

    Andrew's early career as an actor allowed him to be part of The Old Tote Theatre Company (later inherited by NIDA, where Andrew is now Chairman of the Foundation). His acting skills inform his good communication skills, knowing what to say and how to say it being especially relevant to Andrew's need to inspire and impact favourably on his people.

    A born risk taker, Andrew is passionate about the need for entrepreneurial spirit to be nurtured in a nation - he knows firsthand the willingness of people to take risks grows wealth and creativity in a society.

    John Rawlinson (Group CEO, Melbourne, Australia)

    John Rawlinson (or JR as he is better known) started his working life as a Physical Education teacher. Little did he know that when he swapped his track suit for a business suit in 1985 it would start a lifelong passion. After some experience in a sales role at a multinational pharmaceutical company, JR's career really took off when he joined Morgan & Banks. JR's breadth of experience working under the juggernaut duo includes founding Morgan & Banks Technology, a move to the United States for TMP Worldwide and in 2003, then returning to Australia to establish Talent2.

    As the current founding CEO, JR has taken Talent2 from a start-up business to a company with annual revenues of over $300 million and 1,700 people spanning the globe in 19 countries. JR takes great pride and ownership of Talent2's vision to be the best end-to-end talent management organisation in Asia Pacific and around the world by 2015.

    In a career spanning over 20 years in human resources and recruitment, with clients both large and small across most industry sectors, JR is experienced in executive search, executive contracting, organisational change and all elements of HR business process outsourcing. Before founding Talent2, JR was based in North America as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, TMP Worldwide - the owner of leading online recruitment site Monster.com. Prior to this JR was CEO Morgan & Banks Technology after a successful Directorship of Victorian Operations of Morgan & Banks.

    JR has a Bachelor of Education from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University.

    Outside of work, JR dedicates his time to his family, raising his three children. A lover of the great outdoors, John specialised in Outdoor Education during his time as a teacher and was a pioneer of the Surfing Schools Program in Victoria. He still enjoys the occasional surf, is an enthusiastic Collingwood supporter and keen golfer.

    JR is well known for his accessible style and genuine interest in his people - whenever he can afford the time he will open the door to listen. This drives one of his greatest assets - his ability to recognise and combine the strengths of people across all levels of the business. JR encourages resourcefulness, synergy and initiative to allow people to realise their own potential and that of the bigger team.

    Martin Brooke (Group Chief Financial Officer, Sydney, Australia)

    Martin has over 17 years experience in the Human Resources industry and extensive experience managing the commercial aspects of major human resource projects. His industry knowledge comes from working in senior financial positions across a number of organisations, including Deloitte, Morgan & Banks, and TMP Worldwide.

    Martin is the Global Chief Financial Officer for Talent2 and a key player since its inception in 2003. He is kept busy keeping focused on all finance and accounting matters and the Group's IT infrastructure.

    After working for Deloitte in London, Martin transferred to Australia in 1989. In the next five years, he moved into the Human Resources industry to join Morgan & Banks. His time with Morgan & Banks gave him the opportunity to progress through a number of senior finance positions and subsequently TMP Worldwide. At TMP he was the Group Controller - Asia Pacific with responsibility for TMP's Finance team throughout the region. A key achievement at Morgan & Banks/TMP was when Martin established the commercial management function and successfully negotiated the commercial aspects of a number of major client wins.

    Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a Chartered Accountant.

    He is married with two young boys and hopes his love of golf and soccer will rub off on his children.

    People in Martin's team are empowered to do their job well. He constantly challenges them to think outside the box and believes in providing them with the freedom to improve process, drive efficiencies and add value to the organisation.

    Melanie Fitzpatrick (Group Marketing Director, Sydney, Australia)

    Melanie is a strategic business leader with an outstanding record of achievement over 15 years working for and with a mix of UK FTSE100, global businesses and creatively acclaimed advertising and marketing agencies. She possesses excellent strategic marketing, brand and business development expertise, coupled with exceptional organisational and implementation abilities. Melanie is an experienced Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) professional with a keen interest in the global outsourcing sector and proven experience in brand building, positioning and sales in this sector. She also sits on the Board of the Australian BPO Association.

    In 2010 Melanie joined Talent2 as the Group Marketing Director. In this role she directs all aspects of marketing-related activities across the globe and serves as the centre of Group-wide marketing initiatives. She oversees the specialised disciplines of corporate strategy, the Talent2 brand, marketing strategy development and execution, lead generation, proposition development, channel management and marketing communications. The role centres on client acquisition, championing client relationships, and driving appropriate activities that deliver growth.

    In her most recent corporate role as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Williams Lea, a $3 billion global BPO organisation, Melanie led the development and implementation of the organisation's Global brand and marketing strategy. She played a strategic role as a Member of Global Management Committee (GMC), delivering business planning, corporate development and managing large bids for major global organisations. She also co-ordinated all aspects of global marketing including a restructure of the team, refocus of resources, off shoring and centralisation of budget management, strategy and objectives. Melanie joined Williams Lea from Propaganda Group, an integrated strategic marketing consultancy, where she led the business in the role of Managing Director working with a number of high-profile clients, including the development of the Global ghd hair care brand. Prior to this, she established an agency operation in London and Geneva as part of a European Marketing Communications Group working with clients such as P&G, Heinz and Gillette on a pan-European basis. This was preceded by her time at Sage Plc where she held a number of marketing roles.

    Melanie's qualifications include: a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing; Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree '1st Class' Business Studies & Marketing; Diploma of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM); and a Diploma of The Market Research Society (MRS).

    Melanie loves to go horse riding and enjoys cooking to unwind. A special passion for Melanie is helping children with learning and behavioural difficulties cope through a revolutionary drug free exercise program.

    With an inclusive and team orientated style, Melanie pays special attention to develop her team to reach their potential and do great work in the company.

    Sarah Galbraith (Group GM Operations, Melbourne, Australia)

    Sarah is a specialist in change and project management with 23 years of experience across the professional services, human resources, retail, telecommunications, IT services, public sector and financial services industries in Australia, USA, Europe and Asia. Sarah's passionate about driving fundamental business change to achieve business outcomes that co-exist with a happy and engaged workforce.

    In 2007, Sarah became General Manager Operations to take over Talent2's operations portfolio and do what she does best - assume ownership of Talent2's People First strategy, internal human resources, operational strategy and alignment, acquisition integration and project management. Sarah has created robust project and change methodologies for outsourcing implementation within the company, established disciplined performance optimisation practices across the entire organisation, supported by leading edge talent management technologies, and embedded Talent2's internal Careers Centre as a leading example of Talent2's Recruitment Process Outsourcing offering, with performance metrics and cost efficiencies.

    Prior to coming to Talent2, Sarah was practice leader of the IBM Business Consulting Services Organisation Change Strategy practice having worked for IBM in New York in 1998 where she was an Organisation Change consultant on a variety of worldwide projects. Sarah is proud of her achievements in project managing the creation of IBM's Global Services business unit in 1999 and IBM's Business Consulting Services business in 2000, projects which collapsed multiple service lines into cohesive operating units, aligning over 50% of IBM's global workforce. Sarah also had the opportunity to work at Optus Communications in its foundational period, conducting business analysis and change management activities for the development and installation of proprietary risk management software.

    Sarah's qualifications include a MBA from University of North Carolina, USA, 1998 (major in HR and General Management) and Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, 1992. She is also an IBM-certified Business Transformation Consultant.

    Sarah is a student of life and an addict of travel who loves to explore life through the lenses of movies, reading, cooking, mentoring and brunching with friends.

    David Patteson (Company Secretary, Sydney, Australia)

    David has 15 years expertise in various tax and financial accounting positions across industry sectors as diverse as professional services, manufacturing, software and technology, financial services and human resources dealing. These are roles he's held both domestically and internationally.

    In 2008 David joined Talent2 as the Group's Company Secretary to take responsibility for external reporting, taxation, insurance, legal, and administration of the group companies.

    Before his move to Talent2 David was ANZ Tax Manager for GE Commercial Finance responsible for the tax compliance obligations for Australia and New Zealand and managed a team of five. Prior to this, in 2004, he worked for SouthCorp Wines (ASX listed wine producer) in charge of taxation specialty area indirect taxes and earlier worked at Altium Limited (ASX listed Software Company) in the role of Accounting and Taxation Manager responsible for the Group's domestic and international financial reporting and taxation obligations. His career started in a Chartered Accounting firm where over four years he developed a solid foundation in both taxation and accounting.

    David has the qualifications of Bachelor of Business (Accounting, Human Resource Management majors), Diploma of Applied Finance and Valuation, Graduate Diplomas of Applied Corporate Governance and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary.

    A lover of sport from the side line and on the field, David is especially partial to rugby (go the Tahs!), as well as golf and running. He is married with two children and operates an informal taxi service taking his children from event to event for their Saturday morning sports, birthday parties or excursions around Sydney.

    Whether it's listening to his customers or listening to employees, David takes time to understand their needs. After hearing what's important to his team he provides them with the guidance and the opportunity to succeed in their roles.

    Andrew Grant (Global MD, Recruitment Managed Services, Hong Kong)

    Andrew is an experienced CEO and leader of Talent2's multi-national recruitment businesses with over 15 years experience in the recruitment industry. He moved into recruitment in 1996 after a successful career working in finance and investment banking. Andrew is optimistic about the potential in the HR services market and is excited about his role in growing Talent2 globally.

    In 2010 Andrew assumed the role of Global Managing Director for Recruitment Solutions and Managed Services. He still remains the Group CEO Europe. He is excited about building Talent2 to be a global market leader in HR services. He is also confident that Talent2 has the footprint and delivery platform to be the market leading service provider in HR services in Asia, the world's fastest growing market.

    In 2006, Andrew founded Talent2 Europe. In the decade prior, Andrew had a career in finance with KPMG as a qualified chartered accountant and as a senior finance executive within the investment banking sector. His move into recruitment in 1996 was prompted by the opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic sector.

    Andrew's education is diverse. He has an undergraduate business degree in management and finance, is a qualified chartered accountant and a professionally trained actor.

    As a passionate snow skier and food and wine enthusiast, Andrew approaches all the activities he enjoys with 100% effort.

    Andrew's people philosophy is simple and effective - at all times treat your colleagues with the same respect you expect to be treated.

    Mary Sue Rogers (Global MD, HR Managed Services, Sydney, Australia)

    Mary Sue has worked in the HR area for over 25 years in a variety of roles from HR business partner to assisting organisations with transforming the role of HR in their business with consulting and outsourcing. She has experience with a variety of industries including financial services, industrial and consumer packaged goods. Mary Sue comes to Talent2 from IBM where she has been globally responsible for their HR, Learning and Recruiting outsourcing business since 2007.

    As the Global Managing Director of HR Managed Services she owns the strategic and day to day responsibilities for Talent2's Payroll and Learning businesses, as well as working with Andrew Grant, our Global Managing Director for Recruitment Services, setting the strategic direction for our delivery shared service structure.

    Mary Sue started her career as a Shift Foreman with General Motors, and then moved to Consolidated Diesel (a division of JI Case and Cummins Engine Company) and Black & Decker to roles in HR, learning and HR systems. For the past 20 years Mary Sue has worked in Coopers & Lybrand, which became PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and was acquired by IBM in 2002. During this time period she worked in a variety of line and consulting roles in HR, including roles as the HR business partner for part of the consulting division, establishing the HR SSC for Coopers & Lybrand Europe and ultimately holding the role of the global head of HR consulting for PwC and taking this role into IBM. In IBM she was instrumental in creating and establishing the HR, Learning and Recruiting outsourcing business; in the last 5 holding the global leadership role for that team.

    Mary Sue has written several articles on the future of HR and is a sought after speaker with recent engagements with CAHRS, HRPS and the HR Technology Group. Mary Sue was a finalist for the European Women of Achievement Award for 2003 and was selected by Consulting Magazine as Top 25 Consultant in the World in 2006. She was also named to a select group of HRO industry leaders who have been designated as HRO Superstar by the HRO Today magazine in 2008 and was awarded the HRO Provider of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Mary Sue sits on the Board of Trustees for HROA, where she holds the roles of secretary/ treasurer.

    Mary Sue holds a BSc from Oakland University, a degree in Political Science and Computer Science and was a Rhodes Scholar nominee.

    When not working Mary Sue can be found under the sea, she has a passion for diving and underwater photography.

    Her personal mantra has always been "clients and our team first".. as without a team that can truly drive high quality delivery, sustained improvement and innovations with our clients then we can never be number one. No one person can win a deal, delivery consistent and sustained quality, create innovation and ultimately delight our customers - it requires a team.

    James Warwick (Chief Information Officer, Sydney, Australia)

    James' career in the IT industry spans 20 years and covers a range of industry sectors including recruitment, payroll, learning, hospitality, entertainment, retail, travel, communications and corporate services.

    As Chief Information Officer at Talent2, his role is to oversee the group's technology landscape which concentrates on the core business functions of recruitment, payroll and learning.

    When James joined Talent2 back in 2004 he was the Group IT Manager, responsible for the successful deployment of all business systems and customer facing technology platforms. Prior to this he was the Group Technical Manager for UK based Chelsea Village PLC (the then parent company of Chelsea Football Club). While here he was responsible for technology management and IT solutions delivery in line with the development of the 'Stamford Bridge' grounds and peripheral travel and retail businesses across the south of England. This was a challenging and exciting role that turned the development of a premiership football club into a large entertainment, retail and hospitality business. Earlier in his career he spent time in the communication industry delivering network and PABX technology solutions across the UK.

    James is currently studying for a GDM/MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management and holds the following qualifications; Bachelor of Science, Computer Science major and a Higher National Diploma Computing from Portsmouth University, Hampshire, UK; and a National Diploma Information Technology from Southdowns College, Hampshire, UK.

    Outside of the office James enjoys outdoor activities, preferably mountain biking, playing golf and travelling to new destinations.

    James appreciates that technology is an enabler to help people, both clients and employees, deliver their business obligations as well as achieve their goals. That's why when planning any technology deployment, people are top of mind in James' decision making.
