MICHAEL TAVERNER

Chairman

Michael Taverner is a company director and scientific consultant. His expertise is in corporate governance, biotechnology, research and development, innovation and training.

Mike is a non-executive director of Medical Therapies, a company listed on the ASX in 2005 to develop anti-cancer and anti-inflammation drugs. Mike is also executive chairman of Jatoil, a new Australian company formed to invest in the global market for biofuels.

Mike runs a consulting business in Canberra, working with national and international clients on research, innovation and commercialisation. He is an internationally-accredited trainer in human resources and operates widely in public sector organisations around Australia.

GREG CORNELSEN

Non-executive Director

Greg Cornelsen has been involved in several southeast Queensland businesses. In 1990 he formed Springbrook Natural Waters Pty Limited. As managing director, he developed a successful business and negotiated its sale to the ASX-listed company Palm Springs. In 2003, Greg was a shareholder and non-executive chairman of digital media company Icons Inhouse Graphics Pty Limited.

Greg is a former international rugby union player, with 25 caps for the Australian Wallabies. He is president of the Australian Barbarian Rugby Club and a board member of the Australian Schools Rugby Foundation. His rugby and business backgrounds have allowed him to develop an extensive network within the Australian business community.

CHANDRA KANTAMNENI

Non-executive Director

Chandra Kantamneni has more than 25 years experience in the global semiconductor industry and is currently vice president of Fab Operations of US-based Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation. He manages the world wide Foundry Operations for the Corporation. Previously he was the Vice-President and Managing Director of Peregrine Semiconductor, Australia. As Managing Director of Peregrine's Australian operations, Chandra's responsibilities include managing a state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facility, transferring new technologies to the facility, establishing performance metrics to enable continuous improvement, and hiring and managing key personnel from around the world.

Chandra has worked in senior management and engineering positions for some of the world's largest US-based semiconductor companies, including director of worldwide foundry operations and engineering manager for International Rectifier Corporation, director of engineering for GMT Microelectronics, manufacturing manager of the Fairchild Research Centre of National Semiconductor Corporation, senior section manager and project manager of VLSI fabrication operations for TRW Microelectronic Centre, and principal and process engineer for Control Data Corporation/VTC Inc. Chandra holds masters degrees in physics, materials science and business administration.

GEORGE VENARDOS

Non-executive Director

George has more than 30 years experience in the Insurance and Financial Services sector and is currently a non-executive director of Australian Wealth Management Limited (AUW.ASX). He was formally Group Chief Financial Officer of Insurance Australia Group Limited; Chief Financial Officer, Legal and General Australia; Chairman of the Insurance Council of Australia (Finance and Accounting Committee) and a Director of IAG Finance (New Zealand) Limited (IANG.ASX). In 2003, George was awarded CFO of the Year in Insto Magazine's Annual Distinction Awards.

ALAN LI
PhD, MScE, SSLEC
Non-executive Director

Dr. Li has 15 years experience in the LED industry holding a number of senior positions in semiconductor lighting and optoelectronics materials in China and Taiwan. He is currently the General Manager and CTO of Rainbow Optoelectronics Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd and is a co-inventor of more than 37 optoelectronics patents. Dr Li has also been a board member of FangDa Guoke Optronics, part of the FangDa Group Co., Ltd, a Chinese listed company and is a member of the Solid State Lighting and Energy Centre (SSLEC) Advisory Board at UCSB of USA.

Dr. Li completed his PhD studies at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. He is both an accomplished scientist and executive manager in the industry having been awarded an Innovation Award by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2006 in China, the ShenZhen Innovation Award of Science and Technology for 'the Key Technology for Fabrication of High Power LED Chips' in 2007 and GuangDong Science and Technology Award for 'the Key Technology for Fabrication of High Power LED Chips' in 2008. He is also the Principle Researcher in an ongoing R&D project to design new MOCVD reactors partly funded by the Scientific Board of Shanghai City.

Chief Executive Officer

Giles is a specialist in developing offshore business opportunities for Australian corporations. He has more than 12 years experience working with multinationals and other enterprises in Australia and overseas focussing on securing inward expansion investment, setting up domestic and international partnerships, JV's and licensing deals. His primary focus is on business development and the establishment of sales and marketing structures to support the commercialisation of BluGlass' LED technology.

Geoff is a business professional with more than 20 years' experience in local and large multinational organisations across manufacturing, marketing, distribution, service and technology industries. He has an extensive corporate career that includes financial direction and control, business development, brand marketing, budget and planning, information technology, treasury, risk management, and project management.

CONOR MARTIN
Manager, Equipment Design and Development

Conor graduated with a degree in Experiemental Physics and a Master Degree in HIgh Performance Computing from Trinity College in Dublin 2001. He spent five years in Europe with a major equipment manufacturer in the Product Design and Development Department before moving to Australia to join BluGlass in January 2007.

Conor's expertise lies in product design and development and in particular, the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics, an analysis tool for the optimisation of the equipment and the RPCVD process, speeding up development time and cutting down the time to market for BluGlass' products. He provides hardware and process development support for BluGlass' new and existing equipment as well as technical support of sales and marketing activities worldwide.

IAN MANN
PhD, MBA, BEng, GAICD
Chief Operations & Technology Officer

Dr. Mann brings a wealth of knowledge to the BluGlass technology team with vast experience in transitioning Research and Development projects to commercialisation and production. Having completed his PhD in Polymer Science in the US, Ian has worked in a number of cutting edge technology companies in the US and Australia where he has managed technology teams, developed and executed transition strategies, business plans and facilitated mergers and acquisitions along with establishing spin off companies to commercialise intellectual property. His most recent role was as the CEO of Bandwidth Foundry International Pty Ltd in innovating optoelectronics for laser projectors and in leading commercial microfabrication services.
